Paxton Medical Group support Beechwood team for Tranmere Tournament

It was our pleasure to support a host of young football players from the Beechwood community for a special tournament held at Tranmere Rovers stadium last weekend.

Founder of Fender FC CIC put together a new team ‘Beechwood United’ made up of local boys and gave them a great opportunity to play in a tournament at Tranmere Rovers FC

The team played brilliantly and everyone contributed to their superb achievement of reaching the Semi-Finals! The even more remarkable thing is that until the tournament these boys hadn’t played together as an official team. They’re friends/ neighbours from the area who are usually kicking a ball around in the streets due to lack of dedicated football facilities for children on the estate.

It was the idea of Fender FC CIC and local resident, Lewis Shaw, to put a team together for this tournament and give the boys a great day out and some superb memories.
